Principals Paul M. Polito
Mr. Polito specializes in business
consulting, including accounting and tax planning services, and has
experience in mergers, acquisitions and sales of businesses. His clients
include closely- held businesses involved in mining, manufacturing,
real estate development and agriculture.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Mr. Polito received his degree in management
from Loyola University in 1969. Shortly after graduation he co-founded
a publishing and marketing firm, establishing an international distribution
network and sold his interest in 1972. He then worked as a marketing
director for a start-up cosmetic company while attending graduate school
in accounting.
Mr. Polito's early accounting career included two years as a State Board
of Equalization Auditor, several years with the national accounting
firm Touche Ross & Co., and several years with a large local accounting
firm in Burbank. In 1981, Paul and his family moved to Oceanside where
he established his own accounting firm. In 1989, he merged with Robert
H. Carter & Co., predecessor to Carter, Polito & Muscio, Inc.
Mr. Polito is an author and co-author of numerous articles on business
management and succession planning. He is a member of the Palomar College
Foundation and serves as Treasurer and Chairman of its Finance and Investment
Committees.
Donald P. Eppich
Donald P. Eppich specializes in providing tax, accounting, audit and consulting services for individuals and closely held businesses. His clients include companies in the construction, real estate, farming, manufacturing, and service sectors.
Mr. Eppich was born and raised in California. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of San Diego in 1985. Mr. Eppich’s accounting career included three years with a start-up respiratory care manufacturer, two years with a regional health care provider, and several years with two local CPA firms. He joined Carter, Polito, & Muscio, Inc., predecessor to Polito Eppich Associates, LLP in 1995 as director of the accounting and audit department.
Mr. Eppich is actively involved in numerous professional, community and social organizations. He currently serves as the chairman of the finance council at the
Church of St. Thomas More in Oceanside, CA. |
